Ladies Blank Mountaineers In Regular-Season Finale
The Centenary softball team finished its regular season on a high note as the Ladies blanked the Schreiner University Mountaineers by a score of 5-0 on Sunday afternoon in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest at Mountaineer Softball Field.

Kerrville, Texas – The Centenary softball team finished its regular season on a high note as the Ladies blanked the Schreiner University Mountaineers by a score of 5-0 on Sunday afternoon in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest at Mountaineer Softball Field.
The Ladies improved to 19-20 overall and 14-15 in SCAC play while the Mountaineers fell to 10-31 and 7-23 SCAC. The teams split a doubleheader on Saturday with the Ladies rallying to win game one 7-5 before being edged 4-3 in game two
Centenary returns to action next weekend in the 2025 SCAC Championship in Georgetown, Texas. The Ladies tied with McMurry University for fifth place in the standings but due to losing two of three to the War Hawks in the regular-season series, the Maroon and White earned the No. 6 seed. Centenary will open against No. 3 seed Trinity University on Friday at 1:30 p.m. The Ladies have now made nine-consecutive SCAC Tournament appearances.
