SHREVEPORT - After a career-best performance on the floor exercise Saturday night, Centenary junior Meg Crowley earned this week's Midwest Independent Conference Specialist of the Week honor.
Crowley recorded a career-high 9.875 to lead the Ladies to their best overall score (193.200) in six years. Crowley's mark topped Chantel Turk's (University of Illinois-Chicago) 9.825 performance.
Crowley, a 4-10 junior from Spring, Texas, boasts career marks 9.825 on the vault and 9.775 on the balance beam.
The Ladies return to action this weekend hosting Kentucky March 17 at 6 p.m.
